This role will report to the Director of Operations. As a member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for creating an environment for freelancers that builds trust, fosters connections and recognizes the need and contributions of our valued user base.

Your duties will include creating programs to increase freelancer engagement, facilitating communication between Rev and our freelancers, and defining what it means to have an effective and successful community.


Own and lead a team tasked with enhancing Rev’s freelancer community experience. Be the voice of Rev externally to our freelancers, and of our freelancer community internally here at Rev. Develop new programs that excite freelancers to be a part of Rev and connect with one another. Create recognition programs that strengthen the community and reinforce good values. Set community standards, ensuring fairness and clarity. Define Rev freelancer culture and build systems to perpetuate that culture. Aggregate feedback from freelancers to our product teams. Determine and measure community success and progress. Assess community sentiment and the effectiveness of new initiatives.


2 -3 years of previous experience in community management or public relations An experienced manager Excellent written communication skills A level head and sound judgment Enjoys working cross functionally and juggling multiple initiatives Comfortable data and using metrics to measure success
