Job Description:Production Laborers are responsible for the manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.
Shift / Work Hours:3rd Shift / Monday- Friday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
Pay Rate:$15.50/hr USD.
Principal Accountabilities:Manufacture products to ensure they meet specifications, and HACCP requirements. Packing bagged animal feed with use of automated packing line and palletizer robot. Programming packing runs into bagger computer (HMI). Trained to run various pieces of production, packing and warehouse equipment. Pack, stack, ship scheduled production based on customer demands. Move feed to trucks or into warehouse and organize according to warehouse plan/map. Understanding of adhering to all safety rules and regulations. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Other duties as assigned.
Required:Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility. Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator. Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above). Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written). High School diploma or Equivalent. Basic use of a computer. Basic Math skills. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice. At least 6 months of experience in production related work.
Preferred:Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment. Forklift certified.
