Job Description

Construction Solutions Group consists of seven companies serving the commercial and industrial construction markets throughout the United States and Canada.Bo-Mac Contractors, Ceco Concrete Construction, Concrete Frame Associates, KenMor Electric, Titan Formwork Systems, Tribco Construction Services, and Zalk Josephs Fabricators are among the companies the Group supports.

Primary Responsibilities

Train field level and mid-level construction employees in a variety of environments including job sites and classrooms on a variety of soft skills and technical construction task competencies. Collaborates with field management and subject matter experts to develop training resources designed to equip new and existing construction superintendents and foreman with skills and competencies needed for success. Administers presentations and training curriculum such as executive coaching, leadership development, and literacy and numeracy directives. Designs and develops enterprise-wide training for classroom, OJT, self-study, on-line, and blended learning environments. Works with field managers in identifying training needs and helps match with existing products or assists in product development. Ability to engage and participate within a high demand team that strives toward excellent in our performance as individuals and as a group. Develop, implement, and communicate project management actions plans to achieve identified solutions and objectives. Responsible for researching and highlighting cutting edge training software changes and development that would add value to enhancing the overall training program. Responsible for oversight and management of the multi-media content development. Manage the English Secondary Language (ESL) and Spanish Secondary Language (SSL) programs—including content development, recruiting participants and instructors. Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, plus a minimum of 5 years progressive work experience supporting similar key responsibilities. Knowledge of training software including but not limited to Adobe Design Software, Camtasia, SharePoint – or comparative systems. Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation. Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to travel throughout the United States up to 50%.
