Job Summary: We are looking for a Operations Superintendent to work out of our Falcon Office to plan and direct the day-to-day planning, crew scheduling, and safety of the Operations Department. Job Responsibilities Directly supervise assigned employees. Ensure the department is operating in accordance with the organization's policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure the quality and quantity of all work performed by assigned personnel including construction, maintenance, retired distribution or transmission lines, overhead and underground, in a manner consistent with providing the best possible service to the member. Reviews work order planning to ensure the necessary locates, permits, and materials are ready for crews. Manage all materials, supplies, equipment, tools, vehicles and other items used by assigned crews, and take steps for the proper accounting for and maintenance of such items. Job Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, self motivated, well organized, personable and able to exercise discretion, and use sound judgement in dealing with people and confidential information. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Excellent safety history and prior experience working with RESAP is desired. Excellent understanding of Rural Utilities Service (RUS) specifications and regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), National Electrical Code (NEC), ANSI, OSHA and State and Local Codes as it relates to electrical distribution systems. An Associates Degree in a related field; or four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires four years previous supervisory and management experience in line construction and maintenance. Requires a valid Commercial Drivers License. The pay range for this position is between $8,632 and $11,066 per month. Applications for this position will be accepted through Sunday, April 11, 2021.
