The position is responsible for the overall reliability of the assigned filling line. Specifically:• Set up filling lines for daily production runs to ensure on-time start• Routine maintenance of fill line equipment and fill line support equipment• Troubleshoot and repair fill line equipment and fill line support equipment• Maintain required spare parts inventory• Lead projects for process improvement, upgrades for fill line equipment and related rooms,• Act as the liaison with production to identify issues and optimize running efficiencyESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Successfully complete daily set-up operations for filling lines and/or equipment used for preparation of glassware and components for an on-time start.2. Maintain all spare parts inventory for the assigned fill line in an organized way.3. Research for parts orders and place orders to maintain parts inventory.4. Interact with production personnel to coach operators on how to make proper ‘in process’ adjustments, and on the overall machine function in order for operators to identify mechanical abnormalities.5. Respond to equipment failures and troubleshoot issues and make repairs6. Must have the ability to become and maintain gown certification. The cleanroom manufacturing environment requires personnel with good personal hygiene.7. Ability to document and record information clearly and with a high level of detail on both hard copy paper systems and in automated software system.8. Must have the ability to operate PLC/HMIs to the level of “maintenance mode” to troubleshoot equipment.9. Must have ability to use diagnostic tools (e.g. multi meter) for troubleshooting.10. Must have superior mechanical aptitude in set up and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment is a must.11. Must have the ability to work with automated systems and software.12. The cleanroom manufacturing environment requires personnel with good personal hygiene.13. Adaptability to change and to perform under pressure with time constraints14. At times may be required to support/assist with other maintenance functions. For example, preventative or corrective maintenance on other facility and production equipment such as boilers, electrical systems, HVAC equipment and systems, chillers, compressors, pumps, water treatment systems and general building maintenance.15. The incumbent may be required to carry and respond to a cell phone, page or radio during off-shifts.
