As an Investment Analyst, the candidate will support the initiatives of both the new and existing funds through significant exposure to the entire life cycle of investment including underwriting, structuring, due diligence, financing, closing and transition to Investment/Asset Management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnderwrite prospective acquisitions using Excel and Argus Create and utilize financial models for investment valuation including joint venture structures for value-add and development investments Prepare presentations and written investment committee memos Research and analyze market data Collaborate with investment management team to continually finetune assumptions and underwriting processes Participate in property inspections and market tours Communicate details of past and active acquisitions to investor relations team Perform due diligence to prepare acquisitions for closing Participate in the development of machine learning / AI analytical process by working with Data Science Team
QUALIFICATIONSHighly motivated and a self-starter Ability to work in a team environment Exceptional quantitative modeling and analytical skills Superior writing and verbal communication skills/ presentation skills Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment Attention to detail Intellectually curious Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel ARGUS experience is preferred
