Advance your engineering career by joining the Public Works Team of this dynamic 40+ year Houston civil engineering firm.

As anEngineer-in-Trainingyou will work alongside Licensed Professional Engineers on a variety of Public Works projects to include: Regional Flood Control Plans, Local Drainage, Storm Water and Wastewater Pump Stations, Municipal Infrastructure Planning and Design, Water Main Distribution Systems, Storm Sewer Systems, Wastewater Collection Systems, Large Diameter Water Transmission Systems and Construction Phase Services.

You will be responsible for the application of standard techniques, procedures, and design criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks. Other civil engineering duties will include the preparation and production of project reports, plans, specifications and estimates. You will also participate in a variety of project aspects from client meetings, to design/study development to site visits.

Key Engineer-in-Training candidate requirements:

Post-graduation infrastructure projects design experience with a Texas consulting engineering firm Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Texas (TBPE) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)

Additional qualifications include strong oral and written communication skills, a detail-oriented work style, and an accommodating and proactive attitude. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is needed.
